USVN relies on dedicated volunteers to help veterans and their families find trustworthy information, community support, and practical resources. Whether you have professional experience, lived experience, or technical skills, your time helps strengthen a growing veteran nonprofit.

USVN is currently seeking volunteers who can help support our online community, strengthen our website, and provide reliable veteran-focused information.

Discord Moderator

Help maintain a respectful, organized, and safe Discord community for veterans, family members, and supporters.

  • Monitor channels and enforce server rules

  • Welcome new members and answer basic questions

  • Escalate concerns to USVN leadership when needed

VA Claims Experts

Help members better understand the VA claims process and prepare for support from accredited professionals.

  • Answer general VA claims questions

  • Help members understand claim steps and evidence

  • Refer members to accredited support when needed

VA Benefits Experts

Provide general guidance on VA benefits, programs, and resources while directing members to official information.

  • Explain VA benefit categories in plain language

Blog and News Writers

Write factual, veteran-focused articles that help members understand benefits, resources, policy updates, and relevant news.
